Employment Advice

Advocacy, Advisory Services and Influencing

RIA offers its members comprehensive advocacy, training, and legal support, which can be utilised for example in employment-related disputes.
RIA monitors developments in working life, salary levels, and wellbeing. We provide up-to-date salary advice based on research data.
RIA supports construction sector entrepreneurs by offering advisory services, training, and networking opportunities.
RIA influences construction sector legislation and terms of employment, so that members’ interests remain protected.
RIA is a member of the trade union confederation STTK, which does advocacy work, influences societal decision-making, and participates in the development of legislation.

Local Member Associations

RIA members belong to local member associations, of which there are 14 in total across Finland. The associations are responsible for organising activities in their own region, such as trainings, company and construction site visits, and cultural and sports events. The associations also work in close cooperation with the universities of applied sciences in their own region.
